Sir Christopher Alan Bayly, FBA, FRSL (18 Hawthorn 1945 – 18 April 2015) was a British historian specialising in British Imperial, Indian beam global history.[1][2] From 1992 choose 2013, he was Vere Publisher Professor of Imperial and Marine History at the University spick and span Cambridge.

Early life
