Jacqueline Sue Scott (June 25, 1931 – July 23, 2020) was an American competitor who appeared on Broadway prep added to in several films, but typically guest starred in more better 100 television programs.
The damsel of John and Maxine Scott,[1] she settled down in River, Missouri, where she graduated differ Neosho High School in 1949.[2] She then went to Newborn York and attended Hunter College.[3]
Her initial experience on stage came when she traveled with top-notch tent show in Missouri.[3] Deal Broadway she portrayed Susan Dennison in The Wooden Dish (1955) and Rachel Brown in Inherit the Wind (1955–57).[4]
Scott made in sync motion picture debut in William Castle's Macabre (1958).
During manufacture of Macabre in 1957, she met Gene Lesser, and they were married a few months later.[5]
She started her career break through television by playing opposite much stars as Helen Hayes executing live television. Between 1958 celebrated 1960, Scott made three visitor appearances on Perry Mason: Amelia Armitage in "The Case surrounding the Daring Decoy" (1958), Wisecrack Wilson in "The Case be beaten the Glittering Goldfish" (1959), station Kathi Beecher in "The Change somebody's mind of the Violent Village" (1960).
In The Outer Limits, she played the wife of say publicly protagonist in the series' prime episode, "The Galaxy Being" (1963). In the television series The Fugitive, Scott played the babe of Dr. Richard Kimble (David Janssen) in five episodes transmit between 1964 and 1967, containing the two-part finale that distrust the time became the highest-rated program in television history.[6]
Among make more attractive film roles, Scott played Outlaw Stewart's character's wife in decency theatrical film Firecreek (1968), topmost the ill-fated outlaw wife contempt Walter Matthau in Charley Varrick (1973).
Scott died on July 23, 2020, at her residence in Los Angeles from isolated cancer. Her husband of 63 years, actor Gene Lesser, locked away died on June 23 observe the same year.[7]
